Our service
Willstead provides AI-guided estate planning tools and document generation services. We help you create legally structured documents based on the information you provide through our guided questionnaires.
We are NOT a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
Our tools create legally structured documents based on your inputs, following current legislation for England & Wales. The documents are designed to be valid when properly signed and witnessed according to the instructions we provide.

Important disclaimer
Our tools help you create documents, but they are not a substitute for professional legal advice. For complex estates involving overseas assets, trusts, business property, or agricultural land, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified solicitor. Our complexity detection will flag these situations automatically.
Eligibility
To use our document creation services, you must be:
- 18 years of age or over.
- Resident in England & Wales — different rules apply in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and our documents are not designed for those jurisdictions.
- Of mental capacity to create the relevant document, as defined by applicable legislation.
Your responsibilities
When using our services, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information through our questionnaires.
- Signing and witnessing documents correctly, following the instructions we provide.
- Storing your completed documents securely.
- Updating your documents when your circumstances change (such as marriage, divorce, birth of children, or significant changes in assets).
Pricing and payment
- All prices displayed on our website are in GBP and include VAT.
- All payments are one-off. We do not charge subscriptions, recurring fees, or hidden extras.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your document, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.
This guarantee does not apply if the documents have already been signed and witnessed, as at that point the documents become legally effective.
Intellectual property
The documents generated through our service are yours. You own the completed documents and may use them as you see fit.
The platform, tools, underlying technology, website content, and all other materials remain the intellectual property of Willstead. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our platform without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Willstead shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
In particular, we are not liable for documents that are invalid due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
- Failure to properly sign or witness documents according to our instructions.
- Changes in legislation that occur after your document was created.
- Use of documents outside England & Wales.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our websites and services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
